Some 42 monuments will be certified in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories from Armenian occupation this year, State Service of Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan told reporters.
The process of certification of monuments continued from 2020 through 2021, state service said.
110 certificate projects were approved, including 15 certificates of monuments in liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
"Currently, relevant work is being carried out to approve certificates of 155 monuments and documents on the protected zones of 108 monuments," the service added.
